WHAT WE OFFER
Professional Training, Made Accessible
The Fritz Fry K9 Foundation provides access to professional dog training and education to help dogs remain safely and successfully in their homes.
Training programs are selected based on each dog's individual needs, behavioral concerns, and the owner's ability to participate in the training process.
Our goal is to prevent dogs from losing their homes due to behavior challenges by giving owners the guidance, education, and training support they need to succeed.
AVAILABLE SERVICES
Private Training Sessions
Private training sessions provide one-on-one instruction between a professional trainer, the dog, and the owner. These sessions are ideal for addressing specific behavior concerns such as leash pulling, reactivity, basic obedience, fear, anxiety, or household manners.
During private sessions, owners learn how to communicate effectively with their dog, understand behavior, and apply training techniques that can be continued at home. Our goal is to give owners the tools and knowledge needed to create lasting success and build a stronger relationship with their dog.
Group Training Classes
Group classes are a great option for dogs that need basic obedience training and structured learning in a controlled environment. These classes allow dogs and owners to practice skills around distractions while receiving guidance from professional trainers.
- Sit
- Down
- Recall (coming when called)
- Leash manners
- Focus and engagement
In addition to teaching practical skills, group classes also provide education for owners about dog behavior, communication, and problem-solving so they can continue working with their dog outside of class.
Board & Train Programs
Board-and-train programs allow dogs to stay with professional trainers for structured training over a set period of time. This option can be helpful for dogs that require more intensive training or benefit from a consistent, structured environment to begin addressing behavior concerns.
During their stay, dogs work daily with experienced trainers to build obedience skills, develop better habits, and improve overall behavior.
Because long-term success depends on the owner's involvement, owners will also participate in one-on-one training sessions with a trainer after the board-and-train program is complete. These sessions are designed to teach owners how to maintain the training, reinforce the new behaviors, and continue building a successful relationship with their dog at home.
While outcomes vary by dog and owner, our goal is to ensure you and your dog leave the program with the knowledge and tools needed for lasting success.
