The Fritz Fry K9 Foundation is dedicated to helping dogs and their owners stay together through training, education, and behavior support. Our goal is to prevent dogs from losing their homes due to behavior issues by providing professional training assistance to families who may not have the financial means to afford it.
Training assistance is limited and provided based on financial need and available funding.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

Who Qualifies For Assistance?
Applicants may qualify for assistance if they:
Meet the foundation's income eligibility guidelines
Agree to attend all scheduled sessions and complete assigned work between sessions
Agree to follow the guidance and recommendations of the trainer
Want to improve their dog's behavior to keep the dog safely in their home
Can work with their dog outside of training sessions consistently
Because funding is limited, assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis. Not all applications can be funded; each application is reviewed with equal care.
THE PROCESS
How It Works
Submit Application
Dog owners complete the online application below and provide information about their dog, behavior concerns, and financial need.
Application Review
Each application is carefully reviewed by the Fritz Fry K9 Foundation team to determine eligibility and the level of assistance available based on the foundation's current funding.
We’ll Follow Up
If the application meets the criteria for assistance, a member of our team may contact the applicant for additional information or to discuss the dog's training needs.
Training Recommendation
If approved, the foundation will arrange the most appropriate training option, which may include private sessions, group classes, or a board and train program, depending on the dog's needs.
Training Begins
Once approved, the applicant will be scheduled for training services. Owners will receive guidance and instruction throughout the process to ensure the best possible outcome for both the dog and their family. Continued assistance is contingent on active participation.
